Affordable, efficient buildings Our view is that an energy-efficient building is better-built, better to live in and makes sense for the future. We've designed and built energy-efficient houses to order and we're pleased to say the clients are happy with them. These houses have lots of insulation and so don't need much heat, they have solar panels and ventilation. If we say so ourselves, they're light and lovely.Our aim is to make well-built and efficient houses affordable by making use of pre-fabricated panels and adapting simple designs. This makes it easier to envisage that the tens of thousands of new houses needed now are decent to live in and pave the way for good housing for an ever-greater proportion of a growing population.
